Excavating a Legacy: CCA and the One Ton Pot
In 1973, CCA faculty Viola Frey and Arthur Nelson led students in building the One Ton Pot for the opening of the Noni Eccles Treadwell Ceramics Art Center. Decades later, it ended up under a blackberry bramble in Petaluma. Now excavated, it has returned to campus for its alma mater's closing.

Rooted: A Ceremony Honoring the Oakland Campus
Please join the Oakland Campus Legacy Committee for a ceremony honoring CCA’s Oakland campus. We come together to show gratitude to the beloved garden campus we have called home for one hundred years and celebrate the roots we carry forward for centuries to come.

(I’ll be looking at the moonlight but) I’ll be seeing you ….: An Historical Compendium of the Sights & Sounds of CCA/C
This exhibition brings together two classes of interdisciplinary students that have spent time in the CCA/C Archives, its campuses, and its surrounding neighborhoods researching the history of the college. The resulting work embodies their explorations.

ONLY AT CCA: A conversation with CCA Graphic Alumni
Four CCA Graphic Design alumni, Lawrence Azerrad, Heidi Berg, Ben Pham, and Molly Skonieczny, share the different paths their careers have taken and how their time at CCA shaped the way they think, adapt, and make their way through a changing field. Whether you're a student imagining what's ahead, an alum reflecting on your own path, or faculty who watched these journeys begin, come reconnect and celebrate the paths a CCA design education makes possible.
